The series Naif establishes a relationship between Haitian naif art and the ingenious Haitian immigrants that enter the Dominican Republic in search of a better life and work in sugar cane fields, construction sites or as street food vendors.

The clothes and objects each character carries were brought spontaneously by each individual at the time of posing for the camera. The posture they needed to assume was the only instruction they received before the snapping of the photograph. The final composition was made in Photoshop, looking to maintain the rhythm and colors of naif paintings.

The first pieces was a finalist in the XXII Concurso de Arte Eduardo León Jimenes:
